Meeting and ‘engaging with our student population’

This meeting will be at 29 Redland Hill, 7.30 pm, and is about setting up a dialogue with our local student population on climate change issues. We are keen to involve our student population in these issues, and have invited along two who are active in this area with the University of Bristol. They will talk and answer questions about the problems of trying to reduce carbon fotprints whilst living in digs in Redland. and we hope useful pointers for the landlords amongst us will grow out of this, as well as some effective ways we could help students become as carbon neutral as possible.

Since Sustainable Redland has been operating for two years now, and our knowledge and experience has developed accordingly, we will also use this meeting to pool and record our ideas on what we want our neighbourhood to look like in twenty years. On top of the things we are already doing, this will give us a clear, written vision of what we are working towards.
