Community farm open day

Sustainable Redland has been helping with plans for a Chew Magna ‘Community Supported Agriculture’ project. On Saturday 5 September the farm had a fantastic Open Day Community Farm Day 5th Sept 2009 Hundreds of people came along to see the site, the veg, the people, and the potential. Despite the showers a good time was had by all. If you would like to be kept informed as this project develops then contact us. The people involved are Luke Hasell the farmer, Phil Haughton the Grower, Better Food Company which currently is the sales outlet for veg produce, the Soil Association which is advising and supporting, and Target 80 which is a thriving sustainability movement in the Chew area.
