Open Day at The Community Farm

The Community Farm is an exciting new venture involving land at Woodbarn Farm on Denny’s Lane Chew Magna, experienced vegetable grower Phil Haughton founder of the Better Food Company, the Soil Association, and local community groups in Chew Magna and in Bristol. The aim is all about local organic food production with close involvement from local people. Saturday 5 September is an opportunity to see the far, meet the people involved, learn more about the plans and how to be involved, and it will be a great day out. There will be live music, delicious food, childrens games, fun competitions and much more. Everyone is welcome – do come along, and perhaps you will want to become part of this important pioneering project. If you are able to volunteer to help on the day then contact us.
