Judgement on aviation

On Friday 26 March Lord Justic Carnworth issued his judgement on the proposed Heathrow Third Runway. This arises from the judicial review brought by campaigners. The full judgemnt is here. The Judge said that it was not reasonable to rest the case for expansion on the Aviation White Paper now that a legally binding climate change bill had been passed. The judgement is complex, as are the planning processes it examines. This has significance for Bristol airport.
