Susred veg garden club

One of the plans that came out of our lively Special Spring Event was to have a ‘garden club’ to bring together all of us with an interest in growing edible stuff locally. We had our first get together in May and this is now regular event. The plan is to keep it very informal, meet at someones house (actually their garden), share problems, top tips, skills, resources and experience. As time goes by we may venture into garden shares where someone with time and no garden teams up with someone with garden space but no time, and perhaps rooftop gardening in some of the offices and commercial proterties locally which are just crying out for tomatoes, chillies and salad to be grown in containers.
