Whiteladies Road Farmers and Fair Trading Market
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010
Due to popular demand, we have agreed to broaden the remit of our twice-a-month Farmers Market. It will now be the Whiteladies Road Farmers and Fair Trading Market, and we aim to have a wider range of produce – all to do with lovely food, plants and other items that help reduce packaging and cut down on harm to the environment. We are planning on having regular live music, teas/coffees, and some family-friendly activities so that it becomes a fun social event as well as just a chance to buy ethical, traceable delicious produce. We had a fantastic relaunch on 3 July 2010 with a Pets Corner, a barbecue, teas and coffees and a ribbon cutting ceremony where Councillor Simon Cook, Deputy Leader of Bristol City Council kindly came and cut the ribbon for us.
